Looking for an easy zero-waste swap? 🌿🪥
I’ve been loving @abanalphaceuticals Toothbits Toothbrushing Tablets lately. They’re a simple way to reduce plastic waste while keeping your oral care routine convenient at home and on the go. No messy toothpaste tubes, no leaks in your travel bag—just chew, brush, and smile.
I also love that they come in a variety of flavors, including Mint, Natural Vanilla, and Mixed Berry, so there’s something for both adults and kids. If you’ve been searching for a plastic-free toothpaste alternative, eco-friendly oral care products, or travel-friendly toothpaste tablets, this is a swap worth trying.
Toss the tube and switch to a more sustainable oral hygiene routine with Toothbits Toothbrushing Tablets. ...

Did you know 4.7 billion plastic toothbrushes are made each year, most of them end up in landfills or the ocean? 🪥 That’s over 50 million pounds of plastic waste annually.
Swap plastic for bamboo: it’s fast‑growing, pesticide‑free, compostable, and way kinder to the planet. 🌱
Tip: choose bamboo brushes with biodegradable bristles (avoid nylon‑6; look for castor‑bean nylon or other compostable options). ♻️
Small swaps = big impact. Ready to ditch plastic? 🌍

There’s something so special about stepping onto my patio and harvesting ingredients for dinner that will end up on my kids’ plates just minutes later. Every tomato, herb, and veggie feels like a little reminder that you don’t need acres of land to grow your own food—you can do it in almost any space.
A patio, balcony, small yard, or even a few containers can produce so much more than people realize. And the taste? Nothing compares to homegrown food picked at its peak and shared around the dinner table.
Watching my kids enjoy a meal that started as tiny seeds growing just outside our door is one of the greatest rewards of gardening. It’s proof that fresh, nourishing food can be grown anywhere, and that the simplest things often feel like the biggest treats.
What’s growing in your garden right now? 🌱💚

One of my favorite stops in San Diego was visiting @cityfarmersnsy 🌱
They do an amazing job showing people how to grow food right in the middle of the city and why compost is the foundation of every successful garden. Before you start planting anything, start with your soil. Good compost helps create healthy, nutrient-rich soil, which means stronger plants, better harvests, and less waste.
Whether you have a farm, a backyard, a patio, a balcony, or even just a windowsill, growing some of your own food is more possible than most people think. 🌿

Craft time without the microplastics 🌎
We’ve been using @naturalearthpaint biodegradable glitter since Bella was 2 years old, and it’s one of our favorite low-waste swaps for creative play. It’s biodegradable, kid-friendly, and a better alternative to traditional glitter made with microplastics and harsher ingredients.
Perfect for painting, sensory bins, holiday crafts, and all the sparkly moments without the extra toxins. If you’ve been looking for a more eco-friendly glitter for your little ones, this is one we truly love and use ourselves. Use our link to shop 💚 ...

One of my favorite things about this time of year is realizing that what most people call “weeds” are actually little gifts from nature. 🌼
Today I made a batch of dandelion-infused vinegar using flowers picked right from the park and homemade apple scrap vinegar, and honestly, it felt like the most wholesome spring activity imaginable. There’s something really satisfying about turning simple ingredients growing around you into something useful instead of just mowing over them.
I love using infused vinegars for homemade cleaners, hair rinses, salad dressings, and little herbal experiments in the kitchen. Plus, the jars always look so pretty sitting on the counter while they infuse.
It also feels like such a reminder that abundance is everywhere if we slow down enough to notice it.
Now let’s see if I can stop myself from trying to forage every single thing growing outdoors this summer. 😂
If you’ve ever made herbal vinegars before, I’d love to know your favorite combinations!
