My oral care is all zero waste. I use a compostable toothbrush, toothpaste tablets, as well as compostable and refillable dental floss. To help keep my teeth as healthy as possible, I use homemade mouth rinse with essential oils. Thieves oil is an ingredient in my mouth rinse because it contains antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic, and anti-infectious properties. It also helps provide an extra clean mouth and supports healthy gums. Since Thieves oil also contains peppermint oil, it helps with bad breath. If you don’t like the strong taste of Thieves oil, you can instead add clove oil, which also contains antibacterial properties. Make sure to use only therapeutic grade essential oils in your mouth. I get mine from Young Living.
