I just finished watching the movie May I be Frank which is about a man called Frank off course who is overweight, sick with diabetes and Hep C. He’s dealing with a lot of anger. He embarks on a 42 day raw food and holistic healing journey. I highly recommend the movie.

I’m a smoothie junky, specially green smoothies and I love trying new ones. What’s not to love, super food in a glass:) In the movie Frank drinks a smoothie that just sounded so good I decided to try to make it. It’s amazing and now part of my daily routine. It keeps me full for a long time and gives me a little kick instead of drinking coffee.

1 cup almond milk
1 tbs almond butter
2 dates, pitted and chopped
1 tbs cocoa powder
1 tbs cocoa nibs
1 tbs Green superfood ( I used Amazing Grass green superfood)
